When i first started uni, i was convinced i wanted to be a clinical psychologist. However, I quickly found out that wasn’t for me. My degree introduced me to lots of different aspects of psychology. That’s when I discovered I loved cyberpsychology and wanted to be a researcher in this area.

I am interested in people. How we talk to people, how we communicate, how we figure out who we like, who we trust, who we love… I find it so fascinating!

The more I learned about social psychology, the more I fell in love.

It allows me to ask questions about social interactions, which I would argue underpin everything in the world. Our relationships with others are our more important tool to combat anything!

I went into my degree thinking developmental would be my thing but social psychology, and also the people who taught it, were so interesting and I loved the insights it can provide into society and behaviour.

When I first started I wanted to be a clinical psychologist. Then when I did my research project I really discovered how much I enjoyed social psychology.
