      Scientists love to give nuanced answers so, in line with that, my answer is: A bit of both! Different behaviours will have different levels of nature/nurture involved in them so it’s difficult to generalise.

      Good question!! I think it’s over simplistic to say it’s one or the other – instead I think it’s a mixture. For example, some people have the genes to develop depression but they might only develop this if they have an environmental stressor (e.g loss of a loved one)
